Nanase
Aikawa (Saeki Misa) was born in Osaka, Japan, on 1975.2.16. She dropped out of
high school at the age of 15, and soon after began to pursue a career in music.
She began using the name Nanase Aikawa, and released her first single, Yumemiru
Shojo ja Irarenai, on 1995.11.8. She released her first full length album "Red"
in 1996. With the release of "COSMIC LOVE" in 1999, she changed her image to one
more befitting of a wild rock star, by cutting her hair and dyeing it blonde.
"ID" a greatest hits collection, was released in June of 1999. "Foxtrot", her
next original album, was released in Feb. 2000. Her next two singles, Midnight
Blue and Seven Seas were produced by Hotei Tomoyasu, instead of Tetsuro Oda, who
had produced her prior singles and albums. In January 2001, two new singles were
released, "NO FUTURE", produced by Tomoyasu, and "~dandelion~", which was
produced by Oda. Soon after, her next album, "Purana" was released.
