In the future, interstellar travel is made possible via warp gates, connecting planets to each other. During this time, there are many criminal activities that run rampant throughout the galaxy. To support the inept police force, large bounties are placed on criminals in an effort to curb crime and all illegal activities.

Enter the crew of the Bebop Space ship: all working together as bounty hunters, but leading totally separate lives.
